Екипа Средње школе „28. јуни“ из Источног Новог Сарајева побједник је регионалног такмичења у малом фудбалу које је одржано петнаестог марта 2017. године у спортској дворани „Пеки“ на Палама.
У финалном сусрету екипа наше школе савладала је тим Гимназије и средње стручне школе Источна Илиџа резултатом 3:1. За најбољег голмана проглашен је Никола Чамур из II4 одјељења, док је за најбољег играча изабран ученик IV2 одјељења Александар Милинковић.
На такмичењу је учествовало шест екипа са подручја регије, распоређених у двије групе.
На путу до првог мјеста наша екипа је била најбоља у групи савладавши екипе Сокоца и Источне Илиџе. У полуфиналном сусрету, након извођења пенала, екипа наше школе савладала је екипу средњошколаца из Вишеграда.
Резултат у регуларном времену био је неријешен 1:1.
Други полуфинални пар чиниле су екипе из Источне Илиџе и Пала, а резултат је био 2:1 у корист екипе из Источне Илиџе.
У утакмици за треће мјесто Паљани су били бољи од екипе из Вишеграда.
Нашој екипи желимо много успјеха на републичком такмичењу које ће се 27. и 28. априла одржати у Добоју.
